About us
FOUNDATIONS IN LITERACY was established in 2024 with the mission to strengthen literacy and reading education. Through our various programs, we work to make literacy resources accessible to all, as well as to highlight the connection between reading and its practical applications in mental health, community-building, critical thinking, and other essential life skills. Our work and convictions are rooted in the decades of academic research demonstrating the profound benefits literacy provides to individuals and communities alike.
How we help
We offer grants for literacy projects, one-time donations for library collection development, as well as referrals and networking opportunities with our partner organizations.
